Summer, founder of Amelia Island Getaways, attained her long held entrepreneurial dream when she launched this business venture in 2014. Summer’s love for Amelia Island not only connects her to her business but to the community as a whole. Her lifelong love of vacationing here on Amelia Island with her family gives her a unique perspective first as a vacationer and now as a local. As Director of Operations at AIG, Summer oversees all owner and guest relations, she handles all internal aspects of property management, and is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the company. Summer is one of seven children and values faith and family above all. She models her business in a way that honors and reflects those core Christian values.
Wesley Joseph
Director of Property Management
After 10 years of successfully managing a business of his own, Wesley sold his company and joined the AIG team. Being in the service industry for the majority of his working career, Wesley finds great satisfaction in working with people and creating lasting relationships with everyone he encounters. As Director of Property Management at AIG, Wesley handles all aspects of property care, interacts daily with guests on site, and is the brains behind all of the back end operations. When off the job, Wesley can typically be found or lost somewhere in the marshes of Amelia Island. Wesley is an avid outdoorsman and family man defined by his faith in the Lord and the passion he devotes to everything he does.
