  • Pricing and Availability

    All pricing and availability of properties managed by Amelia Island Getaways is current and accurate. Any discount will be included in the advertised price once you select your date range.

  • What is your cancellation Policy?

    If you elect to opt out of travel insurance and are forced to cancel your trip, you will be eligible for a refund less 10% if you follow the proper procedure. You must cancel 30 days prior to your stay for weekly rentals and 60 days prior to your stay for monthly rentals to receive a refund. A 10% cancellation fee will be charged and additional funds will be posted back to your account within 7 to 10 business days. No refunds are given for cancellations within 30 days of arrival date or within 60 days of arrival date for monthly rentals. We do strongly encourage travel insurance to protect your trip!

  • What is due at the time of reservation?

    Upon booking 40% of the total balance is due. Your final payment will not be due until 30 days prior to check in. At this time your will receive a reminder email asking you to contact our office to authorize your final payment of 60%. If you book within 30 days of check in your payment will be due in full upon booking.

  • When will I receive my check in packet?

    As long as you are paid in full, your check in packet will be emailed over to you 3 days before check in. This packet includes useful information including directions to the condo, information on parking passes and pool tags when applicable and your keyless entry code. You my use this code to access the property during your stay. Since all of our properties have keyless entry, there is no need to physically check in at our office unless you have to pick up your gate keys (Surf and Racquet properties only). You can head straight to the property and begin enjoying your vacation!

  • What is your policy on early check in/late check out?

    Please understand that our cleaners work very hard to ensure that our properties are in excellent condition upon your arrival. Check in is at 4pm unless you have requested an early check in and your request was approved. In some cases these requests will be denied due to high volume. If you are interested in adding an early check in or late check out to your reservation, please feel free to give us a call. These requests can only be granted 24 hours prior to check in. We will check availability and let you know if your request is possible. If so, we will add the $55 fee to your account and charge the card on file for the balance owed.

  • What is your pet policy?

    Each condo is individually owned and each have different pet policies. The pet fee is $90.

  • What do home/condos managed by Amelia Island Getaways provide?

    All properties come freshly stocked with a starter set of amenities. We typically provide 1 roll of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, a small bottle of liquid dish detergent, a couple trash bags, a couple laundry pods and a couple dishwasher pods. This allows you time to get settled before having to visit the grocery store for supplies.

    Each home and condo has a fully equipped kitchen complete with pots, pats, cooking utensils, and dinnerware as well as small appliances including a blender, toaster, coffee pot and microwave. If you plan to cook a lot while on vacation, you may want to bring your own spices and condiments as well as coffee filters.

    Fresh linens and bath towels are provided. Amelia Island Getaways does not provide beach towels, beach chairs, or blow dryers though some property owners do have these available. If you are flying, many stores on the island sell beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, beach toys, and sunscreen at inexpensive prices. There are also several companies that rent beach equipment and will set it up for you daily.

  • Why do I see multiple charges for my stay when booking through a 3rd party?

    When you book through HomeAway or VRBO, your information is streamlined to our system. You will be emailed a contract for the cost of your stay from our company. This total includes all taxes and fees for the property. You will see a separate charge from the site that you book through if you did not book directly through our company. Sites such as VRBO and HomeAway do charge a fee based on the total cost of your stay. It is included in the total that they provide you before booking but will be a separate charge from their company once you have confirmed your stay.

  • Is the security damage waiver required?

    We do require a $35 security damage waiver fee for 2 or less bedrooms and a $45 security damage waiver fee for 3 or more bedrooms. This covers up to $1500 of reported accidental damage such as a broken chair, glass, etc. This fee is non negotiable and non refundable.

  • What do I do if I realize I have left personal items behind after checking out?

    If you realize after check out that you have left behind any personal belongings, please feel free to contact us! We will be happy to contact the cleaning company and see if the item has been found. You may choose two different alternatives to retrieve your items. 1. We will hold your item for up to two months and you may pick up from our office. 2. We can mail your items back for a handling fee of $25 plus shipping costs.

  • Can I rent for less than a week?

    We do allow rentals less than a week anytime between the beginning of September and the end of May. Some homes and condos may be available to rent for less than a week during the summer. Contact our office for more information. We do have a strict 3 night minimum and do not rent for less than 3 nights.

  • What credit cards do you accept?

    We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover.
