  • When are payments due for my reservation?

    At Time of Booking: 10% of Total Reservation Cost + Trip Insurance (Optional)

    60 Days Prior to Arrival: 15% of Total Reservation Cost

    30 Days Prior to Arrival: Remaining Balance (75%)

    Reservations made 30 days or less in advance of arrival require full payment at time of booking by credit card. Balances for monthly reservations or longer must be paid in full 60 days prior to arrival.

  • Do you offer discounts?

    We may at times offer special offers, but no matter what you will always save at least 15% by booking our properties directly!

    Any special discount promotions will automatically apply when searching on our site if applicable to your dates of stay and property. The discount amount will be itemized on your quote.

  • Do you offer Winter / Snowbird Rentals?

    Yes! Most of our vacation rentals would love to welcome guests for an extended stay during the winter months. Contact us and one of our local guest service representatives would be happy to help you find the perfect place to call home this winter season!

    Available extended stay online specials are listed on our Special Offers Page. But, please don't hesitate to contact us to see if additional discounts may be available based on your length of stay.

  • What is your Cancellation Policy?

    Book with Confidence! Free cancellation for 72 hours after making your reservation as long as your arrival date is more than 30 days away.

    If you elect to opt out of travel insurance and are forced to cancel your trip, guests canceling 61 days or more before their arrival date will be eligible for a refund less 10% of their total trip cost + travel insurance premium. Cancellation made 31 days or more in advance of the arrival date will receive a refund for any amount paid in excess of 25% of the total reservation cost + travel insurance. No refunds for payments made to date will be given for cancellations made 30 days or less in advance of the arrival date. We do strongly encourage travel insurance to protect your trip!

  • What is your pet policy?

    No pets are allowed in any property except if the property is designated “pet friendly” and guests discloses they will be bringing a dog at time of booking and pays the applicable non-refundable pet fee.

    Pet fees range from $150-$225 depending on the property.

    Only dogs are allowed - no cats, birds, etc. If your dog weighs more than 50 lbs, please let us know. Not all homes and condos accept large dogs. Please note that Pitt Bulls, Rottweiler’s, Dobermans, German Shepherds and Bull Terriers are not permitted due to homeowner's insurance and/or community rules. Violations of our pet policy may subject guest to eviction and/or a minimum $200 fee.

  • When will I receive my check in packet?

    Since all of our properties have keyless entry, there is no need to physically check in at our office. You can head straight to the property and begin enjoying your vacation!

    As long as you are paid in full and have signed your rental agreement, your check in packet will be emailed over to you 3 days before check in. This packet includes useful information including directions to the condo, information on parking passes and pool tags when applicable and your keyless entry code. You my use this code to access the property during your stay.

  • What do home/condos managed by Amelia Island Getaways provide?

    All properties come freshly stocked with a starter set of amenities. We typically provide 1 roll of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 2 bar soaps per bathroom, a small bottle of liquid dish detergent, three trash bags, a starter bottle of liquid laundry detergent, a sponge, and a couple dishwasher pods. This allows you time to get settled before having to visit the grocery store for supplies.

    Each home and condo has a fully equipped kitchen complete with pots, pats, cooking utensils, and dinnerware as well as small appliances including a blender, toaster, coffee pot, and microwave. If you plan to cook a lot while on vacation, you may want to bring your own spices and condiments as well as coffee filters.

    Fresh linens and bath towels are all provided. Amelia Island Getaways does not provide beach towels, beach chairs, or blow dryers though some property owners do have these available. If you are flying, many stores on the island sell beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, beach toys, and sunscreen at inexpensive prices. There are also several companies that rent beach equipment and will set it up for you daily.

  • What is your policy on early check in/late check out?

    Please understand that our cleaners and maintenance team members work very hard to ensure that our properties are in excellent condition upon your arrival. You may request an early check-in/out but it cannot be granted any earlier than 24 hours in advance of your arrival/departure. You will need to call within that period to confirm availability and time. During busy travel periods and in situations where another guest is checking in/out the same day we will unfortunately rarely be able to accommodate these requests, so we recommend all guests plan their travel according to our standard times. Otherwise, the best option is to extend your stay by adding an additional night. If one is available at the last minute please call to see if a special discount may be available.

  • Why do I see multiple charges for my stay when booking through a 3rd party?

    When you book through HomeAway or VRBO, your information is streamlined to our system. You will be emailed a contract for the cost of your stay from our company. This total includes all taxes and fees for the property. You will see a separate charge from the site that you book through if you did not book directly through our company. Sites such as VRBO and HomeAway do charge a fee based on the total cost of your stay. It is included in the total that they provide you before booking but will be a separate charge from their company once you have confirmed your stay. We recommend always booking direct with Amelia Island Getaways for the lowest price!

  • What do I do if I realize I have left personal items behind after checking out?

    If you realize after check out that you have left behind any personal belongings, please feel free to contact us! We will be happy to contact the cleaning company and see if the item has been found. You may choose two different alternatives to retrieve your items. 1. We will hold your item for up to two months and you may pick up from our office. 2. We can mail your items back for a handling fee of $25 plus shipping costs.

  • Pricing and Availability

    To see pricing and availability please input your desired dates of stay. Pricing varies by property, by time of year, may vary by length of stay, and is subject to change at any time. Minimum night stay requirements vary by property and time of year and often will become more flexible last minute if dates are still available. If you are having an issue finding a property available which meets your needs please contact one of our local guest service representatives.

  • What minimum night stay is required?

    Length of stay requirements vary by property and time of year and require between a 2-7 night minimum. If a property shows as available to book on our site you have met the minimum stay requirement. Sometimes, there may be gaps available to book which are not available online so if you are having trouble with availability contact our office so we can try to assist you. We do have a strict 2 night minimum and do not rent for less than 2 nights at anytime of the year.
